“And I do love you.” Baron Alberto smirked, planting a kiss on the knuckles. For a second Tonio was numb, lying there with a leveled sweater vest as the man before him took care of everything else. Tonio barely noticed his shirt pulled up as he was locked in a kiss, the scientist’s fingers preoccupied threading shoulder tassels as he tugged whatever fabric the Baron had on. Their bare chests connected, and as Tonio slid his hand beneath the front of royal white pants, Alberto’s wicked grin followed him with every move. The scientist blushed, which the Baron caught and took advantage of, his nose brushing along red cheek and a tiny lick to entice Tonio to keep going… until those fingers held their grip around him completely.

“Nng… Doesn’t that make you feel better?” The redhead hushed huskily, the palm of his hand cupping the lilac-haired one’s face. When his glasses were removed, Tonio answered in a small nod. His hands made quick work of the Baron’s pants, and the scientist pulled him aboard so that Alberto lay in a compromising position above him, so that the Baron may do with him as he pleased.

Dominate, Alberto did. Enjoy it, Tonio did. The scientist squirmed and screamed, lusting for the ravishing the Baron brought upon his body, from the bites to the nipple to the tongue over muscle, and the delightful shame swimming in his veins and hot on his skin… but the Baron loved him. He said so himself. This made this encounter so much different than their previous runs with sex…

“All right, what did I do now?” Uh oh. Disgruntled Baron. But Alberto was asking about him. Tonio was dumbfounded, but he didn’t deny his moans meant something else.
“Oh! Nothing! Ehe… it’s just me, don’t worry about it. I’ll be fine!” And I do love you. Why was he crying—!?

Tonio never let this bother him before. He already accepted that these encounters as something regular that happened now, a strange way for he and the Baron to put aside their differences and be in good terms with each other. He knew Alberto thought as little of him as long as he could remember, and being in bed was the rare few times the Baron was nice to him. But only because they were both vulnerable, weren’t they? But what did the Baron say earlier? Did he really…?

And I do love you.

“Tonio, answer me!” The Baron was pinning him, beginning to shake. But Tonio didn't stop. The scientist wiped his eyes, but no avail. What’s the use? Tonio was used to receiving no compassion, especially not from the Baron. He laid his forehead on Alberto’s chest, refusing to speak.

“W-Wha? Tonio! What are you doing!? Stop that at once!” The Baron’s eyes widened in shock. What could he say that wouldn’t make this quivering man latching to him even more upset? Tonio… was never like this. He could laugh at the tacky scientist all he wanted, but he never broke down like this. If he was hurt, he never showed it. If he was ashamed, he never showed it. If he hated himself, he never showed it. Tonio was too smart for his own good; he could tell you about anything and everything but himself.

“Stop! Please…” The Baron’s requests fell on deaf ears. Alberto wrapped an arm around Tonio, trying to figure out something noble he could say to cheer him up, that the Baron could look back on for another accomplishment. But he found nothing, and his arm still hung around the scientist like a puzzle with a lost piece. The scientist never asked for much, and after a favor, wanted so little in return and sometimes nothing at all. Alberto unconsciously turned to Tonio for help without meaning it, and now that Tonio was dependent on him, Alberto was rendered useless by the hour as he could do nothing but keep holding the scientist in an uncertain embrace.

You’re terrible, Baron. You’re weak. You’re terrible at taking care of people, because the only one you can help is yourself.

But you do try. I'll give you credit for that.

And I do love you.
