Usually I'd just pretend to be a horrendous fangirl who can't type, but for this year's April Fools, I'm going all tongue-in-cheek. So I made a fanmix dedicated to all the major boys of Utena, each song crossing the line... hopefully twice. Canon-typical warnings apply, and this mix is definitely NSFW. Congratulations, I've got the game for you! "Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea" is another one of those deceptive indie RPGs that starts off cute before going full-blown gore and nightmare fuel, but the romance is always at the heart of the story. This mix is all about Wadanohara and Samekichi from beginning to end. :D Content warning for canon-typical mentions of the darker themes in the game, namely of implied rape, trauma, and healing from said trauma.

Undertale :: Keep the Hoodie On

So... fics like this are the reason why I practically never share my writing on tumblr. :P A few cardinal sins include:

1. Chara, Frisk, and Asriel growing up post-True Pacifist and *gasp* having a sex life.
2. Writing Charasriel porn in general, because two friends who are close "like siblings" somehow means they're blood-related and should be condemned as incest.
3. Treating pit bulls like dogs instead of demons.

I wanted to be true to my headcanons for Frisk and Chara—one of my hcs being that they're both on the intersex spectrum. I'm crossing my fingers that I do them justice in smutfic (both "they're human beings, not sex objects"-wise and "OW OW bodies don't work like that!"-wise), which was partly why I held back posting this to Ao3 for so long.

I've always liked the idea of Chara having a service dog post-True Pacifist, especially a pit bull. Chara and pit bulls go together like PB&J; they're grossly misunderstood and wrongly judged and mistreated. A friend and I talked about how awesome this would be, and then this fic happened. XD

So I have a ton of theories and hcs regarding one of UT's biggest AUs, Underfell; one of them being that Papyrus does his very best to be Evil & Edgy, but due to monster souls being made up of love, hope, and compassion—and well, him being Papyrus—he just comes across as extremely incompetent. We're talking Jessie-James-Meowth levels here. :P

I always wondered what Loid, Ana, and Teddy must've thought about Magicant. Given how it's a world created from someone else's subconscious... I mix and match a bit from EB0/EBB's translation (I'll probably spell Lloyd as "Loid" forever) and Mato's (Teddy's accent, crosses instead of gravestones) because there's things I like about both of them and find charming in their own ways. :) I've also taken liberties with the dialogue here and there so nobody has to read a rehash of the game's script word for word.

Yuletide 2016 was definitely difficult for me this year. :( Depression, Writer's Block, family drama, a certain election, an overall crappy December... I'm glad my recipient liked my fic after all this. ;;

[FANMIX] Undertale :: Sunlight :: A Charasriel Fanmix

Undertale is a game I keep close to my heart, and its world and characters are what's keeping me sane in a not-so-sane world. But nothing makes me weep quite like two striped kids and a goat monster. I'm making a fanmix for each of these kids' relationships with each other, starting with the biggest: Asriel Dreemurr and the Fallen Child (best known to fandom as "Chara")

This fanmix, like the others, is subject to my own headcanons/interpretations/speculations of Undertale and what Chara and Asriel were like outside the few moments we see them in-game. While a lot of the songs can be construed as friendshippy/queerplatonic, this is primarily a shippy fanmix. If you see Chara and Asriel as purely platonic and/or siblings, this is not the mix for you. I will not tolerate fandom/shipping wank and any such comments will be deleted. While Chara and Asriel (including Flowey) are depicted in a sympathetic light, it does NOT shy away from the darker aspects of their characters or their relationship, and includes elements of codependency, obsession, and possessiveness. Throw in canon-typical references to suicide, death & grieving, and implied dissociation, and you're in for a wild ride before anyone earns their happy ending. Oh, and Thom Yorke drops f-bombs, but that's the least of anyone's concern.

Yup. I've become a hardcore fan of Chara. And I weep over Chara/Asriel like I do over Frisk/Asriel. (Hell, I just want all of them to live happily ever after as an OT3, but that's another fic for another day) I wanted Chara and Asriel to have a moment of happiness together before it all goes to hell, so I hope you enjoy this little snapshot. :)
