Nine thousand. Ten thousand. Twelve thousand...

Counting the stars in the sky was like trying to count every grain of sand. Same with how far back you could memorize beyond 3.14 of pi. It was endless—and seemingly pointless. Why bother counting such innumerable things?

"It helps me fall asleep." he responds. "It's more interesting then sheep, anyway..."

So he says. Meta Knight sighed, Jecra taking his place beside the veteran soldier at the end of the cliff. And both of them gazed into the nighttime sky, galaxies spun like sparkling white ribbons, the moon glistening like a silver badge.

"Of course, I like looking at them, too. I'm not that crazy."

Sure he was.

But he held his hand nonetheless—there were some things that just needed to be infinite.
