Sometimes dreams can haunt you to the point where they influence your day. Take this dream I had which I went through the plot of Mewtwo Strikes Back! (minus the Coliseum fights, apparently) and the Mother/Earthbound 0 cast was there: it was Loid who got blasted between Mew and Mewtwo and it was Ninten who was trying to revive him and crying. But he gave a speech to Mewtwo, which vaguely reminded me of West Side Story. Puri woke up, the speech won't stop bugging her, and she wrote this Pokemon drabble.

What would a grief-addled Pikachu sob to Mewtwo after Ash is killed? One thing is certain: our little yellow friend is angry.

You were right, Mewtwo. Humans, Pokémon, and clones alike are disgusting creatures, and tonight I've seen it with my very eyes. So you hate us? Kill everyone. It's nothing new: humans kill all the time. Clones kill. Pokémon kill. Now I can kill too, because now I have hate, and the first victim I'm offing is myself.

We share this in common: We killed Pikapi.

He wanted what was best for EVERYONE. Could you blame him for trying? Unless we are all too selfish to see that. If we can kill, that means every one of us is a prejudiced hypocrite. I don't care who Pikapi is; if loving him as a clone, human or Pokémon or even human clone is wrong, I don't belong here. Feel free to wipe me out as you make way for your perfect world. I'm asking for anyone to hear me: do you have a heart? Won't you cry for Pikapi? If even tears could reunite us, remind us of what it's like to share grief and pain, or if there's a smidgen of love in us left... I can't live in a world where the one soul who cares is crushed into dust and forgotten beneath wrath and violence. I don't want to be alone in a place where Pikapi is taken away from me.

Pikapi... I miss you. I miss you and I'm scared. Pikapi!
