"*insert three words I have trouble understanding*: Ready to die..."
Dude, I didn't know this song had words! XDDD ...Am I this much of a Gamma fan to realize this? oO;;
Yay, I did another
15minuteficlets fic! *brick* Hey, I thought my last one was too sappy. XD So I did a "Kirby" one of the same word, yay! :D And apparently, I like this one way better. XD (And I sure made use of my pronoun abuse too! XDDD *brick*) Apparently, I can't seem to make up my mind whether to call floating evil ships an "it" or a "she"... oh well. XD But really. I've done four ficlets so far, and my "Kirby" ones are so much better than what I do for "Mario" so far. XD Maybe the "Kirby" fandom in me got tired of being ignored? Hmm. Anyway, here's some "Revenge of Meta Knight" goodness. XD
Title: Until the End
Author: Jigglypuff in Blue Ribbons
Fandom: Kirby Super Star: Revenge of Meta Knight
Genre: 15 Minute Ficlet/Drama
Rating: PG, to be safe
Warnings: Dark and angsty, pretty much.
Pairing: None unless you count implications.
Finished: Yes
Word: Devotion
The Halberd… it had been his pride and joy. Now look at it. It was in great ruin, and now it spread its broken wings to soar into the ocean…
He was with him. He always had been, since the beginning. Long enough that he considered him his friend, despite the seeming distance between them. He and his master, flying the skies together.
Suddenly, he had noted a change in his friend lately. His master certainly hadn’t been himself these days—what could’ve happened? Almost like a dark aura surrounded him… almost like someone else took control of him now.
The sea appeared so close now… the Halberd was facing her doom. But hadn’t she claimed the lives of her victims as well? It was only fair she died too. It kept everything in balance, after all. And her crewmates would have to pay the price, whether they escaped or not.
He stared at him…his master, his friend. He stared at his eyes—those chilling yellow eyes, watching with apathy over the destruction of his own ship. He was waiting for him—the very person that dared intrude with his plans. Any moment, he would arrive, any moment, he would drive his sword through him for sweet revenge… so brutal, so sweet.
It wasn’t him. He knew it couldn’t be him. Not the same veteran soldier he followed for so long. But he had to be around somewhere in him. And he would be there for his master, his friend, no matter what… because somewhere, he was there.
Waddle Dee blinked as Meta Knight drew his sword, ready to duel Kirby.
“Good luck…my friend.”
