Yay, Luigi! I love Luigi, don't you? :D Yeah, I wrote a ficlet on him. 'Cause this week's word just asked for the cuteness. :) It didn't turn out too bad, which pleases me. :D Okay, maybe the concept is corny, but oh well. It's certainly been a while since Luigi was in an adventure with Mario, eh? :) Yay "Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga"! ^^ Cute game, I swear. Not to mention Peasley is obviously gay and he and Luigi make such a happy, happy couple, but nevermind me. XD Other then that, I had an exhausting day today, I tired myself out labeling "Chrono Trigger" songs I got from my CDs, but I had a fun conversation with a friend today telling fun stories and glad that all the hard work with my CT music was worth it. :D That, and this song frilling rocks. ^__^ *sigh* I want Leaf Green. XD

“C’mon Weege! We’re almost there!”
If indeed, they had been. The Koopalings were defeated, and now there was nothing but Bowletta in front of them… and soon, it would all be over. In two ways, at that: she’d be defeated, or they would. Maybe they’d both die…
Luigi Mario stopped, like his breath had been sucked away from him. His eyes flickered with nervousness, and his heartbeat quickening. They had gone so far... with so many close calls. So many times, they could’ve lost each other forever…
“Luigi? What’s wrong? Are you okay?”
Physically, he was okay. Mentally, the plumber in green wasn’t too sure. He didn’t know why he kept feeling this way—heroes were supposed to be brave. They weren’t supposed to be frightened… not against the one being that could soon take over the world when not stopped. Why couldn’t he be more like his brother? He envied him, he had so much… he wasn’t afraid. He wouldn’t hesitate before Bowletta…
“Weege?”
“We’ve… we’ve gone so far…” the younger brother shook. “We’re so close…”
“They’re waiting for us, Luigi,” Mario replied. Looking into his eyes, there was a sort of message to them… was he afraid too? Would they reach so high only to die? Yet, those blue irises also revealed another truth: Mario had seen more then he had. He knew each journey, he knew each fear… he knew he’d be afraid. What did it meant to be a hero, anyway? How could he not know…?
“Think of Peasley, Luigi… he believes in you, you know.”
With a slow hand, the younger brother dug into his pocket for a shiny, yellow rose—as he held it in his hand, the thorns did not pass through his glove to bleed him—it was a precious thing to him…
He understood now. Being a hero meant being afraid. And standing up through it.
“You’re right,” Luigi nodded, smiling. “Now let’s get Bowletta!”
