*OLD* Everything

I hate the "Animal Crossing" section of FF.net. A lot. In fact, I nicknamed it "The Netherworld", and for a very good reason too. I also love Grizzly. A lot. In fact, Puri is a humongoid fangirl of him. :) He's normally grumpy on the outside, but a caring softie inside once you get to know him and become his friend. :DDD He's my favorite villager ever, I love him so much. ^___^ And I wanted to write AC angst forever, and since he moved a long time ago... curses, I think I made him OOC in this. I love the last lines of this though. *_* And yes, he's talking about me in the fic... just not my character's name, or it would be a SI. XD

It was weird... when he left. Nobody had been bothering him, and he certainly wasn’t having trouble with Bells. Heck, it felt like he had been whisked out of the town by a tornado and into another, with no reason of leaving except natural disaster.
Grizzly growled, wandering near the beach late in the night. Why did he even leave in the first place? Oh yeah... he was getting tired of the same old, same old. Or... something like that, anyway. It wasn’t like he’d never see the "friends" again, right? And maybe if they cared for him that much, they’d come to see him...
He knew she did.
In fact, no matter how many times he’d scream at her, she wouldn’t go away. She was like a bat: an annoying little thing that restlessly flapped its "wings", yet was helpful to him... she constantly kept running him errands and would cross continents just to pick him a peach. She always smiled when she was near him, and it drove him well... batty.
Yet, at the same time, Grizzly felt an aura of serenity whenever he heard her laugh. She even seemed to look up at him, as a kind of protector... and in return, it was like she brought up his soft side. He could be nice all the time if he wanted... if only if it weren’t for those annoying villagers that bothered him all the time and never left him alone. But she... she’d come, and he didn’t seem to mind her presence as much.
She even written in a letter that she loved him.
Him? Someone like him? He couldn’t comprehend it, yet it made sense all the same. He written her a response, and since then, she hung around him nearly all the time. Grizzly remembered all the presents she used to mail: everything from random items she picked up that she thought he’d like, ("Here’s some Cabin stuff for your room! Enjoy!") including shirts and such he’d either toss aside or try on... and it didn’t look too bad on him. Okay, maybe it did make him seem a little big. Sometimes, he felt like rampaging her, but he’d calm down the moment she hugged his arm...
He had been in his new town for some time now, and since then, never heard from her again. Why? Was he really this far? If anything, he’d have a full mailbox by now, filled with presents and fruit and... the items were meaningless to him. Stupid things. But hearing about her was one thing that made him feel better after a rough day...
Grizzly pounded a fist into the sand. You... idiot. Look at the hole you’ve made.
And I'm still worshipping this picture. XDDD

Date: 2004-09-14 05:38 pm (UTC)Wyah! This is adorable! I've never met Grizzly, but he reminds me of Ricky, my resident asshat. He's a bit of a mean guy on the outside, but when you get to know him, he can be really sweet ^_^
I love it :D!!
and worshipping is nice -cough- O_O Hehehe ^^;;
