Knuckles took a deep breath, resisting the urge to pin the blue brat beneath the sofa. His thumb pressed the knob of the controller to the right, his character on the screen responding so. The red echidna had at least 25 lives left, his opponent with three to spare. Wait, make that two. Upon Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong loomed over Fox McCloud, who kicked himself off from the pit. And immediately grabbed by enormous ape and carried across the stage… before hopping off the platform and committing suicide, taking Sonic with him.
“You said you never played—”
“I don’t.”
