Blarg, I've been so horrible about updating my creative journal this summer. XDDD Writer's Block I tell you, Writer's Block! *HIIIIIIIIISS* Umm... anyway. This isn't much, but it's a drabble. Hey, I never said it was much. XD But hopefully way better than the last ficlet was. XDD Here we go...

He found him by the field of stones.

Graveyards were for walking. Graveyards were for silence. Graveyards were a different world—time held no place there. Sonic shivered, the leaves crushed almost soundlessly beneath his feet—it all rang true.

So there he was. Shadow knelt by the forgotten stone, white with innocence and accepting the warm pleasure the black hedgehog’s finger bore across its name. It was smaller than the other graves, and it seemed insignificant among the other faceless coffins. Which convinced Shadow to come back every year…

Sonic stood behind him, and both were still.
