Luckily for the team, they had Blaze. Unfortunately for everyone, they were all stranded in a cave. Even worse was that it was a blizzard.
"I'm not going out for more wood in this weather." The lavender princess winced. "Just because I have fire powers doesn't mean I'm MADE of it!"
"You've got a good point," Rouge agreed, pacing back and forth, her foot tapping the ground. "If I had known this would happen, I would've brought more sweaters with me."
Shadow meanwhile, said nothing--his arms curled tightly around his legs, closing his eyes in the darkness. He wasn't used to cold weather before, especially storms like this...
"I see you're shivering. The Black Arms race are cold-blooded, meaning snow doesn't affect us like those frivilous humans. It's a shame you hadn't been handed down that blessing."
"The Black Arms race can get our planet's germs and DIE, thank you very much." The black hedgehog muttered through chattering teeth. "If you're so immune to the snow, why not you go and escape yourself?"
"Oh, but I can't do that Shadow." Doom's Eye floated closer, wrapping a tentacle around Shadow's shoulder. And another... and another... "You're too useful for me for that."

There was a shriek in the cave, causing Blaze and Rouge to jump--whether it was fright or pleasure, they couldn't tell. A sly smile curled from Rouge's lips.
"Body heat! Why hadn't I thought of it before...?" She stepped seductively to Blaze, the blushing purple cat backing against the wall and looking nervous indeed. "Shall we try it together?"
"I'll... I'll pass, Rouge!"
