pokanon. This was written the day before Pokemon Dream World finally worked, and... needless to say, I preferred my version. :P Also I ship Audino & Scrafty. So cute!

"Go away." Scrafty grumbled.
Really, he didn't want to deal with this. Especially not appearances of a big, fluffy pink thing. Here he was, beaten black and blue with a couple of black eyes, and he would've had another go, dangit, if his trainer hadn't insisted on putting him back in his ball. That was what, the last three matches he lost? If he had his way, Scrafty would've headbutted that son of a bitch of a trainer too.
The lizard Pokemon jerked his pants up in defense; of course they fit now. He fidgeted in his stump. Why did his trainer think it would've been a good idea to send him to the Dream World? Meeting the first big fluffy pink thing to get there was bad enough. At least this one didn't have weird purple smoke around it.
"You look hurt." Audino said.
"None of your business." Scrafty crossed his arms and turned away. He felt a tingle on his back and swung swiftly to strike, only to yell from pulling a muscle in his arm. Needless to say, the tingle remained, as did Audino's hand. A soothing aura pulsed from where the pink Pokemon touched, and suddenly, Scrafty felt light... the pain in his arm disappeared as did the aches along his battered body, and he was able to blink normally again. Still refusing to look at this stranger, Scrafty sighed.
"...Thanks, man."
"It'll get better once you're back out there, okay?" Audino smiled, then squeezed Scrafty into a big hug.
"Whoa, don't do that--OW!" Okay, he hadn't quite recovered yet. "WATCH IT!" Despite his slew of curses, the lizard did nothing to shove off his healer, not even a headbutt.
Needless to say, Scrafty didn't return from the Dream World alone.
